Does your school offer cotton school uniform options?

Cotton is so comfortable to wear. It's naturally absorbent and allows the skin to "breathe". It helps buffer changes in temperature on hot summer days and when kids are playing.

Imagine my dissapointment when I discovered my daughter's school only stocked polyester blend uniforms, except for the hat and one pair of boy's pants!! Read on to find out why I had an issue with this and what I'm doing about it.

I’ve spent years seeking out organic and eco-friendly clothing for my kids…. I wanted to ensure the labels I was buying from operated both ethically and sustainably. I wanted to ensure that the fabrics against my little one’s skin were pure and free from nasty chemical residues. I wanted to know that by buying a cute t’shirt for my daughter, I wasn’t inadvertently damaging the environment or creating health issues for the communities involved in making that t’shirt. I LOVE organic cotton for all these reasons and more, and I dress my kids in it at every opportunity!!

We LOVE our Orange VEGETABLES! We have a pile of pumpkins that grew from compost during our summer holiday, and they are just DELICIOUS!!
